Are you planning to come to French Fest?

Check out our French Fest FAQs for helpful information!

1. Is French Fest Free?

Yes, French Fest is a free event that is open to the public. Most activities at the festival are also free. Paid items and events include: food, raffle tickets, and wine tastings.

2. Where can I park?

There are many options for parking around Seattle Center. Check out Seattle Center’s parking resources HERE. Sometimes, parking can be difficult to find, expensive, or just plain tricky. We do recommend taking public transportation, if possible. You can use King County Metro’s TRIP PLANNER to find the best route for you to take.

At French Fest last year, we were caught off guard by an unexpected rally for Senator Bernie Sanders at Key Arena, which caused a lot of traffic surrounding French Fest. During the day, we are not anticipating any large events around Seattle Center. We will continue to check Seattle events and will update our page with any information.

3. What should I bring?

You do not need to bring anything to French Fest! We do recommend preparing for rainy and cold weather, as Seattle weather can be very unpredictable. We are accepting credit and debit cards at our food stalls and information booth.

4. Will there be food?

Mais, oui! There will be a Café inside and a Bistro outside, selling food prepared by our French Chefs with the help of our wonderful volunteers. The food vendors in the Seattle Center Armory will also be open and selling their food.

5. Is this a family-friendly event?

Yes, French Fest welcomes guests of all ages! We have activities for children ages 3 and up. All activities except for the wine tastings are open to all ages.

6. What kind of activities will be going on?

You can find our schedule of events below. For children, we will have passports available at the information booth. Find more about the passport activities HERE. We will also be holding wine tastings and a raffle drawing. Tickets for the wine tastings are being sold HERE. Raffle presale tickets are being sold HERE. Tickets for both will also be sold at the event.
