Francophone Cinema in Seattle – 1:30PM
Justine Barda is a senior programmer with SIFF where her areas of specialization are France, the Middle East, and North Africa. She has also consulted to Sundance, the Dubai International Film Festival, and the Toronto International Film Festival. She teaches in the Film Studies Program at Seattle University. Justine will be giving an overview of SIFF’s programs of French and Francophone Cinema with a focus on some of the most exciting directors working today, standout programming fom the past year, and fantastic films coming soon to a theater near you.
